No sign of mommy around
Tears dry on cheeks darken
Parched throat voice frail !
Mom has no feeds

Baby lies less of life
Held baby close

Before dump meal

Crossing the lane in well clad crowd
Could not see any other
Feast arranged in dazzling way
Guest an host exchanging wish !
Stepped out saw a lean boy

Greed in hungry eyes

More an more came giggling
No notice of this baby
Eyes lifeless an lips dry
Look like a skeleton to me !
Bent asked him his need

Teaching Life

Got the shock of my life
Pushed down forcefully
Came this news of mom being sick
Ran to her side with tears
But she could barely see!!

Word sent to family to reach
All except the elder one
When lastly came,
Excuse hang on face
Wife refused to clean up
Mess in the bed of fragile mom!!

She waited and waved
Whispered in ears
Her desire to be a baby
To the gloomy daughter
In unwilling mood
She lacked a baby and mom
A caring lady of her home
Who stood shocked
Over the love of mom!!

Feeling ashamed
Ran to her bed side weeping
But mom left for her abode
Gifting the lady a promise
Not to feel for baby
Mom felt her pain but
She failed to!!

Pains are same
Felt at heart
Few get them and care
Few mock and
