As baby longed to grow
Be free every way
Came schooling
Longed to go college
In college longed n longed
To have a love
Love and love..

Longed a high job
Then job abroad!
Again for marriage
Then babies
A boy and a girl..

Longing just goes on..

Kids grow well
Studies, job, marriage
Again same wheel
Why no end ??
Long and long for what??

Things go on adding
In end a lonely self
Searching and searching
Peace and life..

Life has the cycle
Endless longings..

जीवन के दर्द

जब दादी को बुखार होता
अम्मां बाहर चली जातीं
जब हमें बुखार होता
सिरहाने पर तैनात होतीं
मेरे बाल्य मन में कितने
सवाल उठाती थीं
ये तो कोई ना जानें।

जब दादी भूखी होतीं
अम्मां खीजतीं
और बाबू भूखा हो तब
डिब्बे से खाने की चीजें
अपने आप बाहर आतीं
मेरे छोटे से मन में कितने
सवाल उठाती थीं
ये तो कोई ना जानें।

जब दादी बीमार थीं
अम्मां बेवजह चिल्लातीं
दादी आंसू भी छुपा लेतीं
पापा के नाराज़ होने पर
अम्मां जब रोतीं
मैं दादी का चेहरा देखूं
मेरे अनजान मन के कितने
सवाल उठाती थीं
ये कौन जानें ??

हर मां के मन में दूरी
हो शायद , क्यों? ये ना जानूं।
बचपन छूटा पीछे अब
अम्मां दादी बन चलीं
मन में उठते सवालों का
जवाब ढूंढ़ता मैं
उनका चेहरा देखते ही
समझ जाता हूं।

ये समझ उन्हें क्यों नहीं
विचलित करते सवाल
जान कर अनजान थीं
वही अम्मां , तब जाना
उम्र के दर्द एक ही हैं
सिर्फ इंसान बदलते हैं।

Beauty of life.

Marriage, nupital bliss.
Expected things.
Awaited dreams.
Holding close.
Memories of past.
Mesmerized self.

Craving for little one.
Happy moment.
Sharing smiles.
Getting love.
A tiny world.
Mornings content.

Shrieks & tears roll.
Baby no more.
Gone her smiles n hopes.
Shattered n gloomy.
Her days are blue.
Nights are empty.

Cradle is unpleasant.
Small shoes bring pain.
Caps and socks mock at her.
Husband's love duplicate!
Dull face, sunken eyes.
O, God! Why , Why?

Give my baby back.
To hold in arms.
Cradle is empty.
Heart craves the kicks.
I want the movement.
And the baby smell.
Around me always.

Again blessed.
Child is her world.
Mornings are chaos.
Days are hectic.
Work n work.
Heart is happy.
Life is beautiful.
So much in a baby!!
